dear tina,

today i woke up and thought about how kinda cool tina is. i mean, she does school and things but also volunteering and jumping into jungles and farms (lol –both sheldon) and does all sorts of cool helpful things, always leaving places a little bit better and always a little bit more cheerful because daises always spring into growth within her footsteps. she’s kinda like wonder woman to me, tina, except more happy. and with…you know, pants.

dear tina,

today i wanted to see you so much. but i couldn’t. so the next best thing was to google things which reminded me of you and just stare at them for a bit.

dear tina,

today i decided that i am going to write a long ass letter to ya. see, i’m trying to be more considerate and everything, especially to tina, because, you know, she’s so nice and pretty, and i thought that, well, unlike e-mails, i keep almost all the letters i get, there’s something about them…and i enjoy reading them over and over so lalalalalalala. i’m even going to fold it up, like how i saw on pride and prejudice and seal it with a sticker. this got me so hand-clapping excited that i wanted to tell you. oh no. i guess i ruined the surprise then…oh that wasn’t very considerate…DAMMIT.

Things which I’m pretty sure were based on the potential reunion:

EVERYBODY MARK YOUR CALENDARS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

this song:

and this face from el dorado! these two are the latest discovered alternate manifestations of the tina-helen duo complex.

dear tina,

today i watched arthur’s family reunion which is held every july. it looks kinda awesome. i decided when i start a family i’d like to host one. and i get to make burgers and hotdogs and french fries for everyone. and potato salad. and tacos. AND shrimp chips. and and and and chicken wings! mmm and some pizza. it’ll all be outdoors and they’ll be a huge game of beach volley ball. but with one of those blow-up balls and not a real volleyball so it won’t give us old memories of middleschool gym. or maybe it’ll be with a balloon. they’ll be lots of balloons too. AND an egg and spoon race so our kids can have some fun too. since you’re family you’re invited too. sometimes i think hosting it with you would be more fun than hosting it with my husband. at this family reunion this is also where we give our annual dance off show. i’d like to imagine we have a competition with our husbands. but this summer you and i took swing dancing lessons and we got pretty good at flipping each other so i think we’ll win this family reunion dance off.

dear tina,

my mom gave me blueberry bagels to eat for breakfast every morning. the next morning i go into the fridge and open the pack of bagels and saw that the blueberry bits were awfully brown. i toasted it and put on cream cheese and OMIGAWD this isn’t a blueberry bagel! it’s a CHOCOLATE CHIP BAGEL. tina turned my blueberry bagel into a chocolate chip bagel! it was AWESOME.

dear tina,

today i had my first day of summerschool. on my way to class i realized i had plenty of time to head to the UC to pay for school. then i saw someone i didn’t like. i took the elevator and i saw that person i didn’t like again. and then i had class with a person i didn’t like. it was so awful. i was just sitting there in class wishing really hard that you could be with me. in fact, i wished so hard that i sneezed. after class i walked home and it was raining. then i saw this lump of cut grass on the street in the shape of a vague heart. then the rain stopped. i knew you had something to do with it. it was a great day.

Your Feet

by Pablo Neruda

edited a little bit by Helen to fit Tina

When I cannot look at your face
I look at your clean clean feet.
Your feet of arched bone,
your hard little feet.
I know that they support you,
and that your sweet weight
rises upon them.
Your waist and your tatas,
the doubled purple
of your nipples, (Actually, I do not know, since I’ve never seen them,

prude.)
the sockets of your wide cartoon eyes
that have just flown away, they move so quickly
your wide fishbodied snow-white-red mouth,
your black tresses, brown-black in the sun,
my little tower.
But I love your clean feet
only because they walked
upon the earth and upon
the wind and upon the waters,
until they found me.

kissy face.

dear tina,

tina reads a lotta graphic novels which have lots of pretty pictures. this one reminds me of tina a lot. this graphic novel excerpt. because it is cute. epic. and pretty. and its a fairy tale. those things are all tina. one time she wore a fairy-tale-like dress. so there. this picture reminds me of her so much i’m pretty sure that when she sees it, she’ll tell me it’s from fables, a graphic novel she reads. i’m sure of it.
